Shipping Policy

Schweiger Vineyards Shipping Policy

All shipments require an adult signature for delivery; therefore, we recommend using a business address. For all wine club shipments, please notify us two weeks prior to the first of any shipment month to update your account, change your address or cancel your membership. Misdirected shipments and delivery difficulties will result in additional shipping charges. Will Call selections are held at the winery for 60-90 days after release. Membership with Schweiger Vineyards is ongoing but may be cancelled at any time. A minimum of two shipments is required to qualify for membership benefits; if the two shipment minimum is not met, a $50 fee will be incurred. Thereafter, you have no obligation to continue as a member.

By providing account information with any purchase, you authorize Schweiger Vineyards to charge your credit card for the cost of your selection, including shipping and any applicable taxes, at the time of each shipment. It is your responsibility to keep your account information current. Entering contact or credit card information on our website certifies that you are over 21 and that all information provided is true and accurate.

To reduce shipping costs, wine is only shipped during the cooler months of March and October. If you would like to delay a shipment, please contact us at the winery direct.

We charge our customers only what it costs us to have our wine packed and shipped to you safely and legally.

All wines are sold in California and title passes to the buyer in California. We make no representation as to the legal right of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of California. By placing an order with us, you authorize us to release your wine to a third party carrier to deliver your order to you.

We strongly recommend delivery of wine shipments to a business, rather than a home address. Shipment of wine requires an adult signature. If an adult (21 years or older with proper identification of age) is available to receive this package, additional attempts to deliver will be made. If these attempts are unsuccessful, your order will be returned to the distribution center it originated from, resulting in additional shipping costs.

We will charge your credit card but may delay shipments to avoid known in-transit temperature extremes.

Many states now require the collection and remittance of sales and/or excise taxes. If your state is one of them, we will calculate these taxes for you and include them in the total charged to your credit card.

Schweiger Vineyards sells and ships wine only to persons 21 years of age or older. To place an order you must provide your date of birth, as well as certify that you are 21 years or older. By placing this order with Schweiger Vineyards, you certify under penalty of perjury that you and the recipient of this shipment are at least 21 years old.
