Come experience the sights, smells, sounds and tastes of Schweiger Vineyards. We offer four different tasting experiences:
Estate Tour and Tasting
Schweiger Vineyards is located at the top of Spring Mountain which gives it a breathtaking view of the Napa Valley. This unique growing region is not only beautiful, but has an amazing microclimate for grape growing. Our Estate Tour and Tasting begins with a warm welcome and a brief history of our wonderful property enjoyed with our lovely white wines. We then venture through our tank room where we show how the passion and hard work create beautiful wines! In the cellar is where we taste our renowned red wines. The sights and smells of our underground cellar make an ideal environment to enjoy our elegant Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our Estate Tour and Tasting takes approximately one hour and costs $10 per person. There will be an opportunity to purchase wines and merchandise at the end of the tour and tasting. Paired Tour
Our Paired Tour is similar to the Estate Tour and Taste with a pairing of selected cheese, nuts, crackers, and meats with our wines. This is our recommended tour for visitors that have been to our winery before or those that want to enhance there their tasting experience. We require two days advanced notice and a $35 per person nonrefundable deposit at the time of reservation. This tour and tasting lasts about one hour.
Winemaker Experience Tasting
Our Winemaker Experience Tasting offers one of the most unique tasting experiences you can find. Your time with us begins with our Estate Tour and Tasting. After the tasting, your party will be joined by one of the Schweiger family members for a picnic lunch paired with Schweiger wines. After lunch, winemaker Andrew Schweiger will bring you back into the winery for a blending session where you can taste individual varietals and play around with how blending effects the flavor and aroma of the wine. Finally, every member in your party leaves with a bottle of our Cabernet Sauvignon signed by Andrew. The entire Winemaker Experience will take about three to four hours, commencing at 11am the day of your visit. Scheduling is subject to Andrew's availability, so we recommend requesting the Winemaker Experience as early as possible. The cost is $200 per person, four person minimum eight person maximum for this once in a life time experience!
Large Group Tastings
Because of our tour and tasting style, special arrangements have to be made for groups larger than eight. The tour and tasting is similar to the standard Estate Tour and Tasting, with slight modifications. We taste all five of our current releases. There is a $15 per person charge and a possible site fee depending on the group size and event.
Lodging At The Harvest Inn
Enjoy a Schweiger Vineyards' preferred rate at The Harvest Inn. The Harvest Inn is the perfect setting in the heart of the Napa Valley. Winding brick pathways through cool redwood groves and eight acres of beautiful gardens invite you to discover the secrets of the Harvest Inn. Spacious guestrooms, most with fireplaces and private terraces, offer stunning garden or vineyard and mountain views. Two heated outdoor pools and spas offer a relaxing option for the end of your day. Relax with a signature spa treatment in our Spa suite, the privacy of your guest room, or outdoors in a tented cabana under the Redwood Grove. Amenities include free internet access, a split of wine for a local winery to welcome you and a complimentary wine and cheese reception on Friday and Saturday evening. A bountiful wine country breakfast is also included with your stay.
