Our Merlot from this vintage in particular expresses that great Spring Mountain District terroir which requires no blending to support it. The aroma of this vintage is full of classic berries and black cherry with hints of cocoa, cedar, and tobacco leaf. On the mouth, vibrant fruit shows off a richly layered, incredibly mineralistic mid-palate and lingering black fruit finish.

VINTAGE AND WINEMAKER'S NOTES: 2012 will go down in the books as one of the classic vintages.
