Distinctly Malbec, the bold cherry, plum, strawberry, and pomegranate flavors burst from the nose and continue to fill a rich, lengthy mouthfeel with mocha, cherry cola, fennel, and sarsaparilla. Its velvety entry resolves with a juicy, mouth‐watering acidity. A crispy duck or seafood paella will really make it sing.
Malbec has become more popular in the past decade; however, it is still a fairly rare varietal to produce on its own in the Napa Valley. We only produce a few hundred cases for our club members to taste the distinct difference from our Cabernet Sauvignon, and to get an idea of what it lends to our blends — Dedication and Family Cuvee.
