2021 Cabernet Franc
After making the difficult decision not to harvest the majority of our 2020 vintage, we are excited to release our first 2021 Bordelais red wine, Cabernet Franc. While we originally planted this varietal as a blending component, as the vines became more established, its varietal character began to shine on its own. Our Cabernet Franc is an expression of the softer side of our Spring Mountain District terroir. Lighter in color than our Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this wine has distinct notes of spicy plum, cocoa powder, cherry, and a faint note of herbs de Provence.
